I have been quite impressed by the Obama campaign’s use of technology for coordination, outreach, advertising, etc.

Got - extremely - bad 'personal' news by email once (because I lost my phone a few days earlier, and the friends did not have the new number and wanted to make sure I got it), and it's a 'sit behind PC and think they are making a joke' kind of moment. Until you grab for the phone or some other kind of 'old skool' communication tool for confirmation.. . Auwch. That must have sucked!
