@Cube3

We're holding an open discussion next Tuesday on Orange Island to provide more context and a space to discuss these topics rather than in a comment thread. You're most welcome to join us, as your question raises a crucial point (technology), that we have been exploring too.

Just for the record, the Orange Island project also involved people from Orange's R&D (Orange Labs), who played an important part in the research for a more user-friendly and open experience of virtual environments.

They'll be with us on Tuesday to share some of their work.
Hope you can make it.

as i posted elswhere.

whats NEXT?

to scale to larger virtual media venues? or to pack up, and wait for the next "webby thing." AR perhaps?.

Orange is a media company. So the experiment in MEDIA, not TECH has concluded. and the winner is..?
