“Our payments platform is scalable and robust, maximising the availability of games for your players. It currently processes over 10,000 transactions per day across six currencies..."

I failed at math, but there's 86,400 seconds in a day. Doing 10,000 transactions a day is like 1 transaction every 9 seconds. I don't think they've even begun to test their "scalability". Is 10,000 txns/day really something to tout?

Hmm, is this why the prices and land allowance figures on my Account Summary page at secondlife.com have just grown decimal points, even tho' LL never use them? Something changed in the past few days anyway.

I think maybe the annual Premium Account fee just changed slightly too (down slightly), but my memory may be playing tricks - unless this is what Liadona is referring to.

Liadona - not sure I entirely follow you. One thing I'll say is that it's not clear from the release when Dragonfish will actually have implemented whatever system they have planned - the press release didn't specify the timing of any changes to how SL works.

Well - this explains why I am not being charged a foreign currency transaction fee for my yearly fee. Hmmm - think they should have sent something out to everyone about that as a possibility and maybe factored it into the fee???
