Has “strategic messaging” in a virtual world ever been successful? yes. every worlds fair- and disney location since the 19th century. Walled Gardens-right? can be successful-- IF they are of value to visitors...If they entertian, If theyre -uh 'good". Lots of bad ones, rl- and digital- nto so sure about a golden age, except for those who only are LL based thinkers. How many were pissed at Magic Virtual Disney or Cokes worlds online(habbo made) were axed? Many. So yeah they work, if done well. Why have just about all the SL based branded world iniatives failed, or gone?... Kinda funny, your last two posts contradict each other in many ways? thats ok though i guess... But dwe shouldnt confuse the illusion of "social" media with the reality of its capture as "comercial media" and its twisting of what was once "civic media" between real citizens.
