But I did already purchase and download the software - just can't use it, yet (I don't own an iPhone or any other iDevice until my iPad is delivered.) I see it as an opportunity to provide in-world customer support. During the day when I am away from any computer "proper" - I can pop-in on the grid and use this Pocket metaverse to make L$ payments if needed, accept and deliver inventory, live chat IMs (rather than the sluggish email-to-IM method I rely on now). So the nifty little features of teleporting around and all that stuff... meh. I just want the "collaborative" tools: live IM, send money, receive and send inventory; receive and send group notices. This alone will make the $3 price well worth it. I’m not so addicted to Second Life as to get this software for my (soon to be delivered) iPad 3G.
