01.22.08Rezzable Parses Second Life Stats: It’s the Economy Stupid!Second Life's economy is stalled because of poor integration and retention of newbies, Rezzable proposes. Their economic analysis is really quite useful, as is their conclusion: In fact my guess is that the Emmy award will be a marker for SL…a milestone for when things got really tough. A massive, complex software/hardware environment, more difficult management issues and no doubt some serious competitors coming to this space. 01.13.08Second Life Reaches New Concurrency RecordAs far as I know or can tell from the records, today Second Life hit peak concurrency of 60,000 for the first time (corrections please?) A wonderful milestone. And coupled with far fewer glitches and crashes (for myself anyways) with the new Windlight viewer, plus statistics showing improved grid stability, a very nice way to start 2008. Congratulations Lindens!

12.19.07Second Life: There are NO Unique Users...or, at least, unique users are no longer being tracked by the Lindens for 'algorithmic reasons'. The latest economic statistics were posted by Linden and although trends were stable, it doesn't feel like a way to head out of 2007 on an upbeat note.
