Angel Learning will collaborate with San Jose State's School of Library and Information Sciences (SLIS) in Second Life, according to the WSJ's MarketWatch.
SLIS has had an island in SL for over a year now. SLIS students and educators use the space to meet, develop 3D models, make presentations, and exchange ideas. Jeremy Kemp, assistant director of the SLIS Second Life Campus, will lead the project. He already runs the SL education wiki and simteach.
Angel, a developer of enterprise course management software, will test the waters in SL to develop a 'drop box' for students to share work with faculty. The ...
