SLED Blog Launched to Provide Resources for Educators

The SL blog points us to The Second Life Educators – known more commonly by its acronym, SLED – and its brand new blog.

The new blog will focus on educationally-minded events and topics for educators interested in the SL community. The blog will serve the 4700+ members of the SLED community, but detractors are already having their say as noticed in the comments section of the posting on Second Life.

Namely, users are taking issue with the look and intuitiveness of the blog. Some also take issue with the fact that an educational portal, even though it is a blog, should be interactive. To that end, there are strong recommendations that LL add a Wiki component to the SLED blog. I’d prefer a 3D Wiki, but hey.
