Mark Kingdon, CEO of Linden Lab will join us for the kick-off of a new season on Metanomics on May 6th at 1:00 p.m. SLT (PST).
WAIT! Did I just say May 6th? Isn’t that Wednesday?
Yes….it’s a Wednesday, alternatively called “hump day” or “gawd I wish this week would end sooner day” but can now be called “Thank the stars for Metanomics! It helps me get through the week by bridging it with thoughtful and sometimes provocative insight into virtual worlds!”
So when you go to mark your calendar for all the fun of Metanomics (er, thoughtful discourse on virtual worlds and their serious uses), make sure you mark our new day and time.
OK, but back to M. I’m hopeful that M will: provide a detailed road map for future improvements to the Second Life platform; assure us that no policy changes will occur for 18 months other than a reduction in tier; give us a sneak preview of the new interface for the SL client; and have decent prim hair.
Hmmm. OK – the only thing I can be sure of is that his prim hair is better than Philip’s spikes.
More to follow on M’s appearance. In the meantime, I leave you with a sneak peek of some of the changes in the works for the new season, and a hat tip to the incredible Metanomics community whose feedback, insight and suggestions have been so instrumental in helping us to tailor these changes to your needs.
Congrats, love all the changes & good job snagging M Linden
See ya on May 6th!

Wait… what? Is *that* what hump-day means?
I’ve been doing it wrong all this time….
@Tateru – HAHAHA – thanks for that.
Bravo!
Absolutely looks great, and Wednesday is the beginning of a new week, for me at least.
Great site, well polished and I look forward to reading (and seeing) more!
