This is What Virtual Worlds Feel Like (to Me)

Bettina Tizzy, Goddess of the Grid, seeker of the impossibilities and, through them, the possibilities for spirit, art, and the future of virtual worlds brings us the following video, pointed out to HER by Tezcatlipoca Bisiani.

She titles the post “This is What Second Life Should Be (and sometimes is).” And she’s right. Regardless of whether it is or not, it’s certainly how it FEELS to me: a place where, through raw acts of imagination, the worlds that are being built are home to our expressions of self.

(And beyond that, it’s actually a pretty stunning lesson in how stuff gets “built”. I love the texture sorter he pulls up as he’s texturing the build, for example).

Grab a cup of coffee: this is 10 minutes or so that you want to watch in one relaxed go.
